La chaîne de l´espoir

History

RobinAid‘s initators in the background of Dr. Matthias Angrés use the experiences which they have made within the last years by plenty of medical missions in Kabul. With the constitution of the RobinAid – Foundation we pursue our engagement to an adequate extent which corresponds to the complexity of the targets with regard to adequate structure, quality, transparency and responsibility.

Facts and figures regarding the development of RobinAid:

  • Until the middle of 2008 more than 40 Afghan children have been successfully operated by PD Dr. Rieß, head of the Albertinen Heart Center, within the scope of the project „Heart bridge“ by the Albertinen – Foundation.
  • April 2007: For the first time Dr. Angrés flies to an emergency mission to Kabul; overwhelmed by the degree of suffering which he comes across, he decides to regularly fly to Afghanistan in order to support there as medical scientist. He joins the work of the association „Children need us“.
